Arbenigedd / Expertise

Eileen has worked in early years education as a practitioner, trainer and lecturer since 1978. She currently coordinates the level 4 Certificate in Welsh and Bilingual Practice in the Early Years and also contributes to the modules on the Cert. Nursery Management, BA and MA Early Years Education at Trinity. Her current specialisms/interests include: learning in the outdoor environment; comparison of practices between nursery settings in the UK and other parts of the World; improvisation of materials for encouraging young children’s creative and sensory development; provision for 0-3 years.
